"The Guidance Note: Arbitration and Social Media" was developed by a working group comprised of representatives of the College of Commercial Arbitrators and other institutions and individuals concerned with arbitration in response to perceived ethical and practical issues raised by arbitrators’ participation in social media.  It is not intended as a statement of law,  ethical rules, or grounds for vacatur or disqualification, but rather will serve to enable arbitrators to identify and deal effectively with potential problems.
